This glass on glass bong piece was created by placing a precious metal like gold between a torch flame and the glass. The ultra-high temp of the flame vaporizes the gold, releasing fumes that are then carried by the flame to the glass to make iridescent designs that are then encased with more clear glass in the lampworking process.
